BotuSemen KZ is based on casein, which, in high concentrations, helps delay the capacitation process of sperm cells, thereby improving pregnancy rates.
It can also be used to dilute semen before using Equi-Pure.
Milk casein phosphoproteins protect sperm cells from seminal plasma proteins (HSP-1, 2) that may be present in the seminal plasma.
How to prepare
Add the entire content of the packet to the bottle containing 100 mL of distilled water. Shake well. Place the bottle in a water bath at 37°C for 30 minutes. After this period, shake it again until complete homogenization.
Usage
BotuSemen KZ is indicated for the transportation and insemination of fresh and refrigerated semen.
During semen freezing, BotuSemen KZ is indicated for the centrifugation process using a 1:1 ratio (diluent: semen). For the transportation of refrigerated semen, use a dilution rate of 25 to 50 million sperm per mL, always respecting the minimum dilution of 2:1 (diluent: semen) (v/v).
